rumi roaming live performance: between shadow and light
See poet charles c. smith and dancer Meryem Alaoui remount on stage their collaboration originally presented live on street in fall of 2021, commissioned and directed by Gita Hashemi as the launching event of the rumi roaming project. Part of the allies and friends programme of performances by Citadel’s presenter-in-residence, wind in the leaves collective, also including choreographic works by MC² and B. Solomon in a series of interdisciplinary/multidisciplinary performances featuring artists exploring poetry and/or spoken word interpreted and performed with dance, music and video image-work.
